When an athlete prepares for an important target, she/he usually practices with a Sparring Partner.
The benefit of having a Sparring Partner in sport is undeniable; what if we transposed the concept to business life?
Did you ever think working on your game with a Business Sparring Partner?
Not a consultant, not a mentor, neither a coach, but, yes, a Business Sparring Partner!
A Business Sparring Partner will not tell the client what to do, it is all about helping/challenging the client to perform at its best given his/her current situation.
At #Intys, we like to perform, but our favorite mission is to make our clients outperform.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have worked on a complementary service offering to help Managers reach their business objectives.
We realised that Managers often feel lonely when facing a challenging situation and what they would need is actually engaging, playing, exchanging with a Business Sparring Partner to:
- gain expertise on a specific business matter ;
- obtain insights or guidance on difficult organizational issues ;
- discuss best practices and share perspectives ;
- be challenged and receive objective feedback.
Then, we decided to build a solution to support managers on their needs and to offer them to work on their game. Loïc Decaux and Virassack Sisounol, two experienced Intys professionals, positioned themselves at the crossroads of consulting and mentoring.

“As business sparring partner, Intys offered me guidance to concretize a reflection and to produce innovative and quality outputs around risk management and business continuity. I particularly valued Loïc deep knowledge, his solid experience with executives and his challenging perspective. Together, we developed deliverables which were presented to the C-suite for further consideration and actions.”
Florence Touzé, Governance Risk & Compliance Director, Thalys

“Original but interesting experience. This approach seems to me to be adequate in “project” mode in order to unblock a situation, to re-energize a process, and/or to adopt a certain “discipline”. It also allows to provide an external support benefiting from a wide (multi-domain)) expertise and an external vision allowing to ask the most relevant questions”.
Philippe De Lange, Manager Loss Prevention & Business Continuity - Delhaize
“With enthusiasm and passion, careful listening and appropriate business experience, Virassack, as business sparring partner, provides me meaningful insights, allowing me to connect the dots and develop an improved business model.”
Paul Corin, Head of Operational Excellence & Performance - GSK Belgium Engineering & Maintenance
